The first edition of Genesis – the Willow Cricket Academy tournament for beginners in the Bay Area was held with a grand success. Genesis is targeted towards young kids in the under-9 and under-13 age categories and designed as an indoor tournament with the sentiments of box cricket that most of us played growing up. It provided an excellent opportunity for the young kids to further develop their interest in cricket. The tournament concluded with prizes and trophies and all-round fun.
The tournament was open to all Willow Cricket Academy members and other non-member kids who want to play cricket.
The tournament was held during the weekend of February 15th to February 17th, 2020 at East Bay Sports, 6474 Patterson Pass Rd, Livermore 94550.
