Minor League Cricket announced today that 24 participants in the inaugural UST Minor League Cricket Youth Tournament, taking place near Houston, TX, will be invited to a future Major League Cricket High Performance camp to accelerate development for some of the most talented youth cricketers in the country. The tournament, played in the T20 format, is the most extensive and competitive youth event in American cricket, adding to the pathway for the growth of domestic talent established by Major League Cricket nationwide.

The tournament is taking place at Prairie View Cricket Complex, just outside of Houston, TX, featuring 11 teams representing Minor League Cricket teams across the country. Rosters feature a maximum of 15 players, with three U-21 players, one U-15 player and the remainder to be U-19 eligible. PVCC, a Major League Cricket National Cricket Center, features six pitches allowing for multiple matches to take place simultaneously.

Taking place from July 25-29, the UST MiLC Youth Tournament begins with a round robin stage, each team playing four matches to qualify for the final stages. The tournament will conclude with a knockout phase starting this Thursday with conference finals leading to a Championship final match on Friday. Select matches are livestreamed on the MLC Network YouTube Channel, with the knockout round matches set to feature multi-camera coverage with commentary.
