Major League Cricket and the Northern California Cricket Association (NCCA) will both provide opposition for the United States and Scotland in warm-up matches to take place next week at Prairie View Cricket Complex, as both nations prepare for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 Series, to be held in Houston at Moosa Stadium.
Altius NSL (NCCA Super League) named a 14-man squad to represent the NCCA that includes several MLC-contracted players. The team will be captained by Pranay Suri, who has served as NCCA representative team captain across all formats in the past. Former England international Liam Plunkett, now in the United States in a Major League Cricket capacity, will be the Altius NCCA XI coach for the warm-up games.
